Are You Loony? - My Results

It only happens once in a blue moon, but when you cut loose, you really cut loose. We wouldn't call you loony, but you might qualify for loon-ish. Because while you've been known to have your moments of insanity, you're usually the model of decorum. That's why people are so tickled when you do occasionally do and say off-the-wall, goofy things. But you usually tend to keep your emotions and behavior strictly in check — making sure the scales are firmly tipped toward "sanity" is something you take pride in. That said, it wouldn't hurt to indulge your loony side a little more often. Being dependable and reliable is one thing; being predictable is something else entirely. So leave work early and go fly a kite. Hire a skywriter to inscribe your squeeze's name in midair. Go skinny dipping in January. Make a point of leaving room for spontaneity and craziness in your life — trust us, it's lots of fun.

"I'm the mayor, and I've been here the whole time!" (Spin City)

It’s Friday and I still haven’t gotten my report card yet! Not that I want it to get here or anything (I have a D in Biology) but my parents are starting to accuse me of hiding it from them. Today my dad took me out to lunch at Doc and Eddy’s and then made me go visit all these creepy used car lots. He wants to buy me an ugly old car; he doesn’t understand that driving something like that would be worse than taking the bus. I think we’ve settled on a Chevy Cavalier, we can get one cheap from where my mom works. When we got home I decided to take Missy for a walk. When we were crossing the street my neighbors dog, Charlie the Beagle, came out of the alley and just stood in the street watching Missy. He wouldn’t move, I mean cars had to go around him! I finally got him out of the street but he didn’t have a collar or anything so I couldn’t grab him to make him follow me. Luckily he followed Missy back up the street to his house, this took the greater part of an hour and me and Missy had to go home. Pretty lame day. My sister and company have jetted off to Pomona for the last race of the I-10 series and they wont be back till late Sunday evening/early Monday morning, so it should be a great weekend!

Lions, and Tigers, and Guard Girls, Oh My!

October 13, 2004

Today was the third day of Fall Break and the first day I’ve actually done something. This morning I got up and went to the Phoenix Zoo with my sister and my three nephews. We went early morning so all the animals would still be out and not hiding from the extreme Arizona heat. My favorite animal exhibits are as follows: The Wallaby Walk-About (you actually walk around with the wallabies!), The Giraffes (they came up to the front to hide in the shade so I got some awesome pictures!), The Fennec Fox (we came when they were being fed and we got to see them do tricks for their food!), and The Otter (he didn’t really do anything special, but he was really cute! He looked like Penny dog when she tries to swim). We must have walked at least two miles around that place! Then as soon as I got home I had to go to Cold Stone Creamery for our stupid guard fundraiser (some of those girls can really take the fun out of fundraiser). At first it was all cool but then some people (who shall remain nameless) got a little bossy and wouldn’t let anyone else help with making ice cream. Then the guy we were working with got all uptight at the end and kept giving us dirty looks. OK, so while I was mixing this one guys ice cream I noticed a hair on the one of ice cream scoops and I kept trying to get it off without the guy noticing but I couldn’t do it, so I finally gave up and just put his ice cream in the dish and hoped he wouldn’t notice! I don’t think he did. Speaking of fundraisers, I need to get mine started! I’m in charge of selling candy, what kind of candy do people like anyway? I swear I’ll go get all the paperwork filled out as soon as school starts again! I can’t believe school starts again in only four short days! Well it’s not so bad, I’ll get to see Greg* everyday again! And I start off with a clean slate in all my classes (I will pass biology! I will pass biology!). Well, I better post this before Law and Order starts!
