I've fallen and I can't get up

My life has hit a snag. I'm so lonley and bored I could scream. I was supposed to get a car, but that didn't happen. I was supposed to get a new cell phone, but that didn't happen. I'm cursed, and there's nothing I can do about it.

Is it just Shasta and red stuff?

The guard trip to Vegas: a summary
Friday we had a rehearsal and spent the night at Jennifer Stewarts house, it had to be the worst sleep over ever. Her creepy stepbrother came home drunk and was taking pictures of us sleeping and threw things at us. Then he showed them a movie of a beheading, I couldn't watch, I had to leave, just the thought was too disturbing. The next day we woke up really early and went to Marcos to get on the bus, we drove out to where we were picking up Oasis and had to wait because a lot of them were late. We stopped in Kingman for breakfast at McDonald's. When we finally got to Vegas we had to get ready to perform because we were behind schedule or something. We performed and all was good (except Jenessa dropped her sabre during her solo, she was the only person who dropped). Our scores were pretty low, but I think Alice said we beat all the Tucson guards. We stayed and watched all the higher up guards, I got to sit by this really cool gay guy. We all bought matching hats and ate Albertsons chicken for dinner. We didn't leave until like 10:00. The bus driver got lost and we didn't even get to see the Strip or anything. The hotel was "ok", I've seen much worse. We had a really crappy breakfast, then went back to the show site to watch finals (needless to say we didn't make finals). It was packed! They ran out of seating! It was crazy! We watched all the guards (didn't stay for awards) and left. We stopped at McDonald's for dinner (are we seeing a pattern here?) and watched the video of our show on the way home. Everyone thought we did really well (except the judges I guess). We got home around 12:30. I found a bag of apples on the bus when we cleaned it up. It was pretty funny. But my mom made me go to school on Monday even though I only got like 4 hours of sleep! I guess the gang didn't do to well down in Blythe either, but my sister did mention Chris asked where I was (good sign?). Otherwise this weekend was definitely a loserfest.

Should I bring my dueling pistols or my sword?

This has been a terrible couple of weeks. My CDs were stolen, the guard show was crap, the race was cancelled, and I'm just so mad I'm fighting with almost everyone. There are very few people on my good side right now. But the light at the end of the tunnel is we have TRP practice this weekend and I got my braces off! :)

Jenni + fer = Jennifer

"Fall... With you, I fall so fast. I can hardly catch my breath, I hope it lasts. It seems like I can finally rest my head on something real, I like the way that feels . It's as if you know me better than I ever knew myself. I love how you can tell, all pieces of me. Fall... Sometimes I fall so fast. When I hit that bottom, crash, you're all I have…"

The Week In Review

Everyday so far has been pretty lame. Except Wednesday was pretty cool, Heather got us McDonalds for lunch and my group for the Shakespeare project (Chelsea, Gabby, and Erica) met at Erica's house to watch the movie "Much Ado About Nothing". It was soooooo funny! There were these scenes with this guy hiding behind one of the Chinese lanterns, and one where these cops were chasing these people for drinking in public and they kept putting on different random outfits. There's big drama at guard because Cherisse's grandma is dying so she's not coming to practice and some people are getting mad because our home show is tonight. Speaking of which, we are totally unprepared and our show is going to be a big flop, I'll give you all the info tomorrow. It should be pretty funny. Race tomorrow!!!!! I hope Chris is there! :)
