Is the Season Over Yet?!

WOW! It’s been so long since I updated! Lots going on, I’m really busy these days (Marching Band/Guard Rehearsal on Monday/Wednesday, Fees Winterguard on Tuesday/Thursday, Games on Friday, and Competitions on Saturdays, well not really this week we have a 12 hour rehearsal on Saturday). Lets see, last week was pretty dull except for the first meeting of the FWG (Fees WinterGuard) and of course rehearsal is always eventful. Friday was a game at Desert Vista (we lost), and Saturday was Tournament of Champions. Saturday I was at school 8 hours and I only left once to get Starbucks! First me and Heather helped with the balloon arch (Heather tied the arch to her pants so it wouldn’t get away and I took it over to the bleachers), then I spent the rest of the day in the gym lobby working on pink flag work (which Alice said was the ugliest). When I went into the guard/tuba room to change for the night show I was going to change in one of the back rooms so I walked in and the lights were out and Brad walked out of the shadows! It was the scariest thing ever! He was still wearing his band uniform and everything, I guess he’d been sleeping in there the whole time cause I never saw him go in and I’d been in there the whole the day! While I was screaming everyone came in so I had to lure them out by throwing the big foam fruit into the lobby so I could change. November 6, U of A Band Day! Much fun there, awesome shows by Sabino, Nogales, and the U of A Band. Yesterday we marched the Veterans Day Parade and tossed out candy. We looked pretty lame but it was really fun! After that the guard went to Mills and we got our picture taken with Santa! I’ll put it up on my PictureTrial when I get that up and working. Today was the twins’ birthday, Heather went crazy because she forgot and just ended up giving them $5 (I suggested a coupon for one free trip to the makeout room). First Friday without a game! State tomorrow! California next week! I swear I’ll up date again soon!
