CAUTION: HEAVY RAINS

OH MY GOD!!!!! Best weekend ever! We all went to down to Blythe for the last Cali race of the season. All the weather stations said it was going to rain but we called down in advance to check the weather for ourselves and Rocco told us it was sunny and nice. It rained all the way to Tonopah! But when we did get to track it was sunny and warm, we were all wearing t-shirts! After a couple of rounds of practice me and Chris went to get something to eat and my dad shows up and tells me it's time to qualify so I bolt back to the trailer to get ready cause my dad made it sound like I was already late. I get in my car and up to staging, we sit in our cars for like 10 minutes until they let any of us on the track. Blake was on the track when it started to sprinkle his mom started freaking out and yelling so they stopped qualifying they asked all of us if we still wanted to go out even though it was "raining" we all said yes and they were about to send out the car in front of me when they started arguing about it, that's when it started to rain really hard. If they had let us just go out we could of all qualified before it started raining, so we all drove back to the trailers hurrying to cover the cars with tarps and get under cover ourselves. We were trying to put a plastic shower curtain thing in front of the trailer door and we were all getting soaked, trying to duct tape it up but the tape was getting wet and not sticking and it was a huge mess. Once it calmed down me and Sharon took the umbrella to go get our money back because the races were officially cancelled. Once we got everything loaded and my sister and mom showed up we took our refund and went and had dinner at Sizzler. I sat with Cassie, Chris, Todd, Josh, and my sister at the "kids table" and ate carrots, chicken, and a banana. It was so fun! The food was sorta crappy but I still had a great time. We didn't get to do any racing but this trip was definitely worth it.

"All you people look at me like I'm a little girl, well did you ever think it'd be ok for me to step into this world? Always saying, "Little girl, don't step into the club". Well I'm just tryin' to find out why, 'cause dancing's what I love. I know I may come off quiet, I may come off shy. But I feel like talkin', feel like dancin' when I see this guy. What's practical, what's logical, what the hell, who cares, all I know is I'm so happy when you're dancing there."
