"You'd Have To Rub Them"

Okey-dokey time for an update! Last Saturday was State Championships, we got a guard caption! I really didn’t think we would, I was surprised! Our rating was only an Excellent. I think our final score was like 89.43 or something, anywho you need a 90 to get a Superior. After State Stephanie, Katie, Cherisse, and me all went to Fiesta Mall to make our guard shirts. It says “American Idol…” on the front and “Guard Edition ’04” on the back. Then on the sleeve it has who we were in the skit, mine says Seacrest. Cast list includes: Cherisse-Simon, Latina-Randy, Erin-Paula, Me-Ryan Seacrest, Cassie-Crazed Fan, Stephanie-William Huang, Katie-K Dizzle, Jennifer-Marvin, Katie H.-Fran, Bridget-Boris (together Katie and Bridget were the Bandettes and sang the band song, funniest thing ever!), and Reyna and Ashley were backup dancers. Then Sunday I went out to the track, it was so cold! The wind blew all day! Tyler pulled off an amazing win in Jr. Honda but totally sucked in Lt. 160. Semrau let us have Monday morning off so I got to sleep in! But I had to go to the winterguard chop shop after school; there are a lot of people trying out that I don’t want to make it. I won’t name names cause well, I have no idea who’s reading this! Then later that night we had rehearsal, which was super fun cause we cleaned the ballad! There might have been a few comments about ball rubbing and things on that train of thought but I don’t mind cause well, I guess I wouldn’t mind if it came round to that! Just reread that, it didn’t really come out like I wanted it to but I can’t really explain it so I’ll just leave it like that and let you think what you want. Reyna keeps telling everyone I like Charlie! I wish I could just sew her mouth shut! #1 I never said I liked him, #2 Every time she says it he’s always around and she yells it so people within a 20 mile radius can hear her, and #3 I don’t need people thinking I like him. I think I may have to find a bit of a “fake” boyfriend so people think “Hey! Maybe she doesn’t like him, I mean look how happy she is with so-and-so!” and after everyone’s thinking that I’ll dump him and say I didn’t feel a “connection”. Well, I have to finish my epic project, I’ll try to update before I leave for California and right after I get back! Cheers! :)
