Friday - “That’s not a spoon…it’s a spork”

Today was practice at the Blythe track. They had just put down a coat of slurry at the bottom of the track and it was dangerous! They towed off more cars than drove off. I spun at least two times. All in all it was a pretty unsuccessful day. But afterwards there was a free barbeque, yummy!

Saturday – “I hate the Murphys!”

Today was race day. I qualified 10 out of 13 (pretty bad) and I finished in the back of the trophy dash. Time for the race! I started out in the back (not a bad place for this particular race) and just as I planned they took each other out one-by-one. Crash after crash they towed off more cars and we went from a field of 13 down to 8. Crash victims include: Cassie, Stevie, Marcel, Romano, and the #9 car. I got a top 5 finish (fourth to be exact)! Top five finish: the #6X car, Blake, Murphy, Me, and the #28 car. What a weekend!
